Glen G. Bateman Jr., owner and lifelong aquarist, has been rearing fish, coral and invertebrates both personally and professionally for more than 20 years.  With more than two decades worth of experience, Glen has become adept in water chemistry management, filtration technologies, fish diseases, and acclimation techniques to safeguard the health of a wide range of aquatic species.  His passion resides with all things aquatic.  He is an expert at designing and setting up one of a kind aquarium displays.  Recently, he has been helping hundreds of Central Virginians to aquaculture and propagate corals (LPS, SPS, Soft corals,  Polyps and Anemones) and fish, some as delicate as seahorses, both in their homes and in their businesses. To this day, Glen oversees the operations and the maintenance of all the aquariums maintained by Aqua Scapes and is actively involved in the husbandry and propagation of all of the aquatic life.
